just started my lucky today.  I have never knit lace before and I'm really excited to see how the whole thing turns out!  Hopefully I'll have it done for the start of school in the fall... there's nothing better than a nice fall jacket. Not too hot, not too cold.

anyway, I had a bit of a question about the sizing.  I've got a 36 inch bust paired with a 28 inch waist and hips.  (no but to speak of.  Angry)I decided to make the size small (to fit size 36 bust) so that it wouldn't be too terribly loose in the tummy area.  For those who've completed a lucky, does it fit fairly loose?  will i be able to fit a t-shirt between my boobs and the cardigan?

Thanks!

What happened, Juniper? Didya drop a stitch? Were you able to fix it?

That's a gorgeous color. Looks like midnight blue. Smiley

I was seaming one of the sides, realized that my pieces had become offset, tried to unravel the seam, had to resort to scissors, and CUT THE WRONG BLOODY THREAD, thereby ruining the back piece.

Having looked at it again without the haze of bitterness clouding my judgement I think I can save it and hide that spot in the seam, but it's always going to be a really weak spot.

Hokay! I'm back to seaming. Has anyone else noticed how bloody difficult it is to get the lace pattern to line up when you're seaming? I swear I've had to restart this same side seam 7 or 8 times.

BLAOW!!!

I love these ridiculously long sleeves. ^_^

It turned out Slightly larger than I wanted it to be, but it's really comfortable and frames my face wonderfully, so I'll call it a success.
