Ok, another stupid Qs:
When the neck shaping starts, should I keep on doing increases for the waist edge or not?
Coz I thouhgt it's kinda weird to start decreasing for the neck, but increasing for the waist edge?
This pattern confuses me.

Yes, keep doing the increases for the waist edge. It's confusing just becasue it's so much different stuff at once.

I'm in!  My mother-in-law bought me the Rowan yarn for this in colour Fresh, it was 50% off!!  I think I am going to splurge for Addis for this baby, since she looks to be an investment in time.  That's OK, I love small gague, 'cause it makes my knitting look better Smiley

Thanks for Abinka for pointing this out, I'm starting as soon as I finish Clapotis!  ( so... close...)

Done!

I thought it was never going to end, but it's finally finished!

The color is actually much more purple than it looks in the picture.  But for the life of me I couldn't get a picture that really picked up the color.  The yarn I used is Bernat Sox in Purple Hot.  It's acrylic, but it's so soft, and I can wash it.

I altered the arms so that they weren't bell sleeves, and I really like how they turned out.  The sweater overall is a little big, but I love it anyway.

How many yards would you say you used for Just the neckband and side tie? I'm doing mine in a contrasting colour and am not sure if 110 yards will be enough. It should be plenty, right?

I would think that would be enough.  The balls of yarn I was using were 203 yards, and I started a new one for the bands, and I don't think I used more than half of one.

Awesome. ^_^

Now I just have to figure out what else to get from knitpicks. It seems silly to only buy one ball of yarn from them.

What a great idea! Can't wait to see the finished product.

I just realized that I have no idea how to do the raglan seams. I'm comfortable with mattress stitch and fake grafting, but what on earth do you use to attach slanty seams?
