That's really pretty, it fits well and looks well made. I really like the fabric, that's a great design and the color looks nice on you. I don't think the fabric looks cheap at all, but I guess it could look a little different in person. I aggree with the other posters, a nice peice of jewelry would really dress it up a lot. I think it looks rather formal as is, but a necklace (gold would be beautiful) would make for a nice touch.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

I don't think it looks cheap!  ..... I think it would be perfect for a wedding if you add a nice, big, shiny necklace Smiley
I would say the only reason it doesn't look overly formal is because you rarely see the baby-doll waist in formal dress.  I still think it fits the occasion though!

Could not have said it better myself!

I think it's beautiful and elegant, and you should be proud to wear it to a wedding. I would wear it everywhere if I were you! Great job on the fit as well.

Beautiful! Especially if this is your first go at making a dress - I would definitely have to say it was a great success. Despite it sounding like quite a hassle, the fabric does not look cheap at all. You look lovely in it too! Hope you have fun at the wedding.

I dont think it looks cheap at all. did the wedding invitation say it was a black tie affair? If so, your right it probably isnt formal enough. But if its during the day and is just a dress up event then it is fine. I wouldnt worry about it being flammable, all fabric is if you set fire to it Wink

It's a beautiful dress. I've seen the fabric at JoAnne and really like what you did with it.

I think that fabric looks great, maybe if you dress itup with a nice pair of shoes or a necklace. It would be perfect for a wedding.
