I made this wallet with a wrist strap and embroidery of Roland Barthes on it a couple of months ago, but I have since added a tassel to the zipper.

Fabric I used on the inside and a shot of it full of stuff. I also made some card slots so that it was more compartmentalized than a regular change purse:

Thanks! I am thinking of starting a cultural theory line of wallets in the fall when I have more time, so it's great to get some positive feedback!

...wow!!  You have MAD embroidering skills.  And of course I love the little compartments, good idea to add those!  I like pouch type wallets, but everything can get jumbled...with this, you have some organization in there.  Love it!

Hey thanks! This was only my fourth embroidery project or so, but I did it after recently visiting my mom and grandma who gave me some good tutorials and books to help me out.
