I had my son save his bags from his favorite Japanese chips. I thoroughly washed and dried it.

Then used vinyl to protect the bag and make it more durable.

When I started the chip bag was nice and flat, but after I sewed it, I had to turn it right side out. So it caused all of these wrinkles!

I am really upset that it is so wrinkled, if anyone has any suggestions for the next time I make one, I would appreciate it!

But other than the wrinkles, I really like how it turned out! Smiley

Any comments or suggestions appreciated!

i guess the wrinkles just happen from the flipping inside out...is there a way to flatten them out without damaging the bag?

don't let the wrinkles get to you, i think the bag looks fabulous!  Grin

I don't know if either suggestion would work for the wrinkles, but you could either try putting it underneath a stack of heavy books and leaving it for a couple of days, or you could try putting a piece of fabric or something over it and ironing it?

It's fabulous anyway, with or without wrinkles! Great job!

Hi all, thanks for all the comments, I'm glad you all think it looks good even with the wrinkles!  Smiley

To answer holistic knitter's question, no the zip was really easy.
I actually sewed in the zipper and then I sewed the edges of the bag up.

Looks I may have to make some more!! They are just so unique!
