Hello all.  I am new to the site, though I've been lurking as a guest for a while.  I have really been inspired by what I have seen.  A friend of mine is a member here, and some of her projects inspired what I'm about to post.  The following pictures are little beaded squares I made from game sprites.  I only have these 2 right now, but I'll be making more.  And do take note, they were made entirely out of size 11/0 Delica seed beads (they're really small and can be a pain to work with on projects like this).

This is Tanooki Mario from Super Mario Bros. 3

If you've played the game, you know that to avoid being hurt by an enemy, Tanooki can turn into this statue

These took me quite a while to complete.  I hope you like!  And please, be gentle.   Smiley

I do plan on doing more.  I just finished the hedgehog from Mario Bros. 2 yesterday.  I'll be updating as I make more.  Smiley
