I second LAK53.  I love both tops, but since I wanted to try to make one as a gift I thought the triangles on the second halter might be a safer bet.  Pattern please?

And great job!!!

I made this!   Grin  I added beaded fringe and my mom lined the boobie triangles for me.

(you can click on the pics to see them larger)

oh...and the fringe looks pretty uneven...but it really isn't.  Smiley

Oooh, I must be brain dead.   How do you line a crocheted project?  Hand sewn?  Machine?  A few months ago I made my SO's mom a halter top but her nipples will show so I thought "swim suit cover up."  Not that she wears cover ups but...  Lining it would be awesome!!

If you click on the last pic I posted you can pretty much see what she did.  She just cut a piece of fabric the size/shape of the boobie triangle.  Then she hemmed it all around so that it wouldn't look crusty around the edges.  Then she sewed it onto the boobie triangles.  She did it all by hand b/c that was before she got her sewing machine for mother's day.  Doing it by hand made it so that you can't see the thread from the front...I dunno if it would be the same for doing it by machine...

Hope this helped.
