I'm away from home until Sunday.  My sister-in-law is staying at our house while we're gone and is supposed to email me if I get a package, but she's got a toddler and a preschooler and a brother-in-law and his kids all staying there too, so she certainly might not get to it right away.  So, I may have received and not know it.

I received today! You'll have to wait until I post pictures to find out from who, though.  Wink

Mail has been strange for me this week so I have no idea when I'll get a package. They are re-paving half of the boulevard I live on and the trafic is crazy. It's been looking like a parking lot in the last few days. So who knows what's happening with the mail.  Sad I want to receive.  Wink

And I can't wait for my partner to receive, it should be soon.  Smiley

I apologize to my fabulous partner... JEANE! I actually got this on Thursday but I didn't get to post until now.

stickers and a postcard:

zipper pulls:

magnet:

invisible sandals:

jean ipod case:

another ipod case:

she painted a scene from my favorite movie, Harold and Maude, on the back:

monster ipod case:

a bookmark featuring a quote from Harold and Maude, and a stamped coin:

You were right, Jeane. It was a stamped coin. Someone made me one from the same machine as in the movie a couple years ago, here is what it actually looks like:

and the coolest thing.. a journal jar! It has individual words printed on little pieces of paper. you take a word a day and write about it! I hope this cures my writer's block!

thanks so much Jeane. I can't believe this was your first swap!!

Lovely and thoughtful swap gifts, but what I really want to comment on is that you love Harold and Maude too!  I watched it with my kids when they were the same age I was when I first watched it (wasn't sure if it was a real good idea but now I'm glad I did.)  My son totally got it and now it's one of his favorite movies.  What a cool idea for swap inspiration.

I KNOW we have quite a few receivers who haven't posted yet. Myself included, hopefully I'll get to that today.

Don't forget that when you swap the final step is posting pictures of your stuff!

I try to leave accurate feedback, and like to see pictures before giving your partner their feedback, so please try to post pictures quickly.

I received from Purelectricity, a cool craftster who I've seen in other swaps.  I got three things I've really been wanting.  Here's everything:

The biggest item is a hand-embroidered tote.  The emblem is a Jewish star, elaborated to give a hearts/flowers effect.  Her own design, I think, and as an embroiderer I appreciate the work that went into it!

A needlebook similar to one I wisted, with all the features I want, including pockets for my scissors and threader, plus a cute button-and-ribbon closure:

And finally some handmade gift tags, some Jewish-themed and some all-occasion.  I really like these!

Thanks, Purelectricity!
