Hello all.
I've been working on these curtain(s) and am still in the process of panel 1.  But I finished this section of it and.. Darn it, I think it's cute.  I was inspired by Mystic Mushrooms patterns and some of the fantastic embroidery projects I've seen here.

Here was a progress shot

And here is the finished little man in his little spot.

My plan is to compliment him with a little wife on the other curtain panel...  but I have much more stitching on this side before that.   Wink

It is sort of my version of a sampler.  I'm trying all different kinds of stitches and techniques.  My only wish is the pics wouldn't be so blury- no Digital Camara for me, just my hubbys PDA device.  Roll Eyes

I love the scene you've put together. It's a little mushroom world you've created.

LOVE IT!

Really cute!  How big is the embroidery compared to the rest of the curtains?  Is it a little detail at the bottom, or does it make up a large amount of the area (like if it were a small kitchen window covering)?

It's a small section in the bottom right corner of the window curtain.  only about 5X8 in.  There are other things being embroiderd onto the panel too.

The gnome is mine but the Shrooms were inspired by a pattern I found online...
Merry Modern Mushrooms 3775 an Aunt Martha pattern.  Sadly afer searching I can't quite put my finger on the web page that had them.  Sad
I thought it was the Hoop love flicker... but perhaps I'm wrong. Huh
