I made this from a kit...the roof is crocheted, stuffed and sewn onto the base.
The base is felt with some basic beginner's embroidery added and a zipper is added to the back.
The base  is left unstuffed so that it will hold coins.

Exodus 35:35 (NIV)~ He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers - all of them skilled workers and designers

neat-o! It would look awesome as a cannister cover as well.  For some reason, I'm thinking of a smurf village, but they lived in mushrooms.  Anyway, I really like the combo of felt and crochet.  Thank you for sharing!
