I really like your dresses -- my favorite is the brown/tourquoise one.  I like those colors together.  I do like the button details of the pink one.  I agree with you about taking in the pink one, because I think the tourquoise/brown dress fits you  and looks better.  (At least IMHO!)  Great summer dresses!  Hope you get lots of opportunities to wear them.

super cute!
I have this same pattern and I've been meaning to make it for ages.
You inspired me to give it a go, though!

I tried this pattern too, but it came out way too big.  I'm a newbie seamstress so i didn't realize how off the fit was until I had already sewn on the bias tape (won't make that mistake again) and now it's sitting in a pile just waiting to have its seams ripped out.  I'm not sure how to fix the fir other than just cut the next smaller size on the pattern.
Anyway, enough of my rambling...
Yours look great!

Ahhh!   That pattern was the first thing I ever sewed!   Hahah...I don't agree with the packaging that it's easy though...But then, it was my first project.
At least for me, the bias tape was a nightmare.  Did it give you any problems?

Yours turned out wayyyyy cute though!  I LOVE the colors you chose.  I think the second is my favorite, though both are so very cute, and your alterations are lovely.  Just awesome.
