Crafting it up in Concord

Hi all,
I'm new here and so glad I found some kindred spirits. I've been stitching for years, but only things that I could find at major craft stores, so I've decided to try my hand at designing my own stuff using PC Stitch. I am getting all fired up just looking at everything that you guys have made--brilliant!
Anyway, I just uploaded some of my designs into my gallery. It is taking me forever to stitch them up, as I have a one year old son who rarely naps! So it will be a slow progress, but I've posted a few designs on etsy.com and hoping that my little shop does okay. (I'd love to write more of an intro, but I'm rushing as little Kiran is taking a rare nap that's already lasted an hour!) Anyway, feedback would be great--are the colors okay? Sizing?

Your stitching is so neat. I'm way new to cross stitch so I couldn't even imagine making my own pattern!

Thanks ladies! I've got a ton more designs but it takes me a couple weeks to stitch up each design because I have so little time to myself! But it does feel really good to do something that I've loved for so long and have a community to share it with. Especially amid all of the craft stars here!

Well, keep posting. (: When I first joined this site, I just came every once in awhile to get some sewing tips, but now I come daily just to see what all is being posted. It's great to find people you can share something with together. I don't have many friends or family that appreciate the homemade style, so that's another reason I love coming here.

Oh man.  I just showed this to my coworkers (the crafty bitch one).  One response "That's so you." The other "Oh Man! you should hang that on your bulletin board."

Totally love these. Keep up the good work. Seriously.
