Yes! I need to do this to my bedroom as well!
I'll try to post some pics soon

I am very sorry to anyone wishing to look at the pictures that I have previously posted. Photobucket deleted my account without warning.  :/

Can I just say I admire your bravery?

Totally agree with that. I am so anti-clutter now because as a student my books/papers covered my floor and that's how I would entertain friends, "pull up a square inch of carpet..." In any case I look forward to seeing what you do and think that you must be the most open person in the world Smiley

Can I just say I admire your bravery?  I believe I need to join in but don't know that I am brave enough to post photos of the mountains I have before me lol.  I will definitely do the clean along as this is something that plagues me as well, but I will seriously have to work on being brave enough to post photos of the messes I have made.

Me, too.
I need to just tell myself, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can,..."

Oh I am so glad you started this thread! The timing is awesome! I was so disgusted with my craft closet that I took photos earlier this week, so I can get motivated to organize this monster. I converted the closet in my baby's room into my "creative lounge". It looks more like dumpster than crafty hangout these days. Oh, the transformation shall stun you all!!!!

I'm considering joining in, but I have to be honest - things aren't really all that messy at our house.  It's just that I have a craft room/storage room/guest room/office and it's not working for me.  It would be a combo decluttering/redecorating that would take at least until the first of next year to finish.  I really need to have a yard sale, but I can't do it until Sep., so things wouldn't really start rolling along until then.  I do have some pics, so maybe I'll post them this weekend.

Good luck to everyone who's in so far!  Can't wait to see your transformations!

Oh I am SOOO in! I will try to post pics after the weekend (even though the fact that I let my room get this messy IS quite embarrassing)!!! I've been VERY slowly organizing my craft space/Living room, but it is sooo hard. We live in an old, poorly designed farmhouse with VERY little closet space! I might need some help and support, but I would love to clean right along with you all! Imagine a long skinny hallway of a room (currently lined with Rubbermaids and piles of clutter)---now try to fit an excess of crafting supplies, computer desk, couch, tv, etc. in there.....YIKES!

My to do list is too long...I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. As I reward, if I get this messy room together, I just might get it together and paint over these icky sponge-painted walls!  Wink
OK....here we go! This is a VERY big step for me...I can't believe I am showing this....
starting with the craft cabinet and rotating clockwise...

Ok, now I am overwhelmed already and ready to give up.... Embarrassed
