I received from the supertalented Poppyache!!! It's a fantastic package, lucky me!!!
(And poor me, imagine the swap anxiety that lies ahead...  Roll Eyes)

Thank you so much Poppyache, I LOVE everything, it's totally made my day!!!

The themes she crafted to was: old/fragile, lacey, random and secret.

On to the pics!! It was all wrapped up beautifully:

First package I opened, a quilted pencil case with some lovely old lace and vintage pencils inside, + 3 lavendel bags. I needed a new pencil case so that's really handy too!

Next a lovely bib for my baby boy with Cristopher Robin embroidered on it, a romantic decorated photo album, some cards, and a fabulous secret book box!!

The inside of the box, full of secret treasure!!! A cute needle holder bird, a badge, a lace bracelet and two beautiful art objects in resin......... (+ a vintage scarf I couldn't fit into the picture)

Here is a close up of those cards, are they hand-drawn? They are beautiful either way!!

And I really needed a new key ring, only I feel like this is too precious to use...

(text says: secrets are made to be found out with time; if you reveal your secrets to the wind you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees)

And last but not least, these coasters, although I think I might try to find a frame and put the one on the right on the wall, it's gorgeous!

Thank you so much again Poppyache, everything is so well thought out and made and it has such a lovely look, you really spoilt me!!!!

I recieved from Eukarya today!  I am totally fantastic-ified by this package.
My themes were: wood, wool, art, and mystery.
First off, this really cool painting.  It totally looks like a tree to me, so that is what i'm calling it...although really it also kinda looks like a dendrite, which makes it the best tree ever really.  Plus, the tree is made of yarn, which makes it my fantasy, where yarn grows on trees!

Next, check out this fab painting.  I think its the best thing ever painted.  I told Eukarya that I loved Picasso's blue period and she went from there!

Here's a close up:

(for anybody who is now also in love with this painting, I just saw that Eukarya has ACEOs of it in her etsy shop!)

Snuggled in with the paintings, I found this little treasure!

left over yarn from the tree painting, and a little question mark box.  At first, the box looks like it is covered with the coolest contact paper ever, but then you look closer, and the wood grain and the question mark are painted by hand.
and you open the box, and there is a false bottom, so you can hide "mysteries" in there!

Eukarya, I love everything!  My husband told me to ask if you sell your paintings anywhere.  (besides the ACEOs, he likes big art!)

I'm so glad that you like it all! Smiley

Yes, that is meant to be a tree, but it does have a slight dendrite feel about it.  I giggled madly while making it (really didn't take long if you don't count drying time) because it's a "triple whammy" Wood - you've got the tree there, Wool - it's made out of mohair yarn, and Art - cause it's on a canvas.

As for big paintings, I started by doing small drawings and paintings and am slowly scaling up.  Thing is, I've had zero luck selling any big paintings (plenty of lookers, never any buyers) so I've been practicing by doing swaps.
