another feathered hat, but i need advice on this one!

So I made an actual base for this one. It's not tear drop shaped like the facinators, but round. It feels a lil fifties. BUT (this is where i'd like opinions) I want to put a veil on it. I have pictures with and with out. With it has this AWESOME victorian vibe. But i like it both ways....which is better?

no veil: it's got a lil bow with swarovski on the center
