I've seen some cute Nessies here on Craftster, but I wanted to make one that preceded the adorable creature we all know, love and believe in. And so, with a pair of old green corduroy pants, some bright green thread (no cool reason, it was all I had) and some scrap purple yarn, I give you....the Nessisaur Lochdidon Minor! (the minor stands for baby since I assume an adult Nessisaur would need to be MUCH bigger!)

Before there was Nessie, there was this adorable (albeit a little flat) creature.

From the front. So cute...so tame...so seductive.

Also, in order to make Nessisaur that much more lovable (if that's even possible), I made sure to add my personal touches of button eyes (an absolute necessity in my book) and a little handmade purple scarf.

So...what do you guys think??

I want to adopt it. Cheesy I LOVE the Loch Ness Monster, esp. in it's baby form! The scarf just adds to the overall adorable factor.

I'm glad you guys like the scarf! When I was done sewing, I knew something was missing. And...well...this creature is supposed to be from chilly Scotland, right? So, the scarf was just a natural.

...Okay, that's just a good excuse. Honestly, I screwed up the sewing on the neck. Oh well. Happy accidents, right? Tongue
