Anne St. Clair, of Needle Nook Fabrics, of Wichita KS, teaches classes http://ndlnookfab.blogspot.com/, and I'd like to take one. She says she'll come for as few as 10 participants (up to 20).

Quote
Fee: $ 60 per person for the workshop plus Bra Kit approx. $45 ( enough for three bras).
8 Hours of class time, if you allow for lunch, I usually schedule 9am - 6pm. I will stay until everyone finishes and has a final fitting on their bra.

Lecture/Demo on Lingerie and Bras the evening prior to the workshop is three hours, 2 hours for lecture and 1 hour for bra fittings. Anyone attending the workshop needs to be at the lecture for fitting so that I can prepare their bra pattern for the next day. Cost is $200.

Plus travel expenses and lodging.

So it sounds like her fees are $200 +travel+lodging (divided among the participants) and then $60 + $45 materials fee per person .
I don't know how to coordinate something like this... I don't own a fabric store or sewing machine facility, but if there's considerable interest I'll see what I can do.

I'm in New Braunfels, but it wouldn't have to be in NB. She did one in Kingwood a few years ago.

You know, I'd be totally interested in this.

You might try somewhere in Austin-- like Craft-o-Rama or First Samples.  They'd have well-equipped spaces and the wherewithal to publicize.

Elvissa,
I see that you are in Austin... do you have any contacts in any of those places?

Sadly, no, I have no connections at either place except for dropping some cash from time to time at Craft-o-Rama and drooling over some of the pattern making classes at First Samples.

I'd just give em a call-- the worst they can do is tell you that they're not interested.
