I made this for a swap and now that my partner has received I can finally post it:


It was for her theme "witchcraft" and is inspired by a wooden sign from etsy that I saw on her wist.

I used coloured Aida, I once did a small cross stitch on linen and it nearly drove me mad because it was really difficult to get the crosses all the same size....
A project of this size on regular fabric would have ended unfinished on some corner of my room...

omg!  I LOVE this.  I bet you were soooo sick of black by the time you were done!

Oh yes... Next stitching project will be something with lots of different colours in it  Wink.

I just had to use my newly minted account to tell you how much I love this design. The black on red is so striking and the design is splendid. I'm a assuming you made the design yourself. Did you use one of the computer programs or do it by hand?
