Thanks so much for the tute! I decided to try it this weekend (i'm veeerrrrry wary of sewing without patterns... i seem to be measuring-impared) and it's GREAT! the first thing i've ever made w/o pattern that i could wear (i think i'll probably wear it to a friend's wedding in a few weeks)! And it didn't take too long, either - just a few hours on sunday afternoon. I didn't have a zipper on hand though, so i still have to do that - but then i'll be finished! It doesn't look nearly as great as yours, but its a step in the right direction...

Oh my god I'm so excited! I'm glad it worked! I view sewing all in all as a step in the right direction. I hope you pose pictures when you're done!!

I LOVE your fabric!  I can't wait to try your tute out, I am just starting to have the nerve to sew without a pattern.  Yours looks fantastic.

I can't read patterns so I have no choice Roll Eyes I do love it though. I like when things run smoothly but I also like a small problem to figure my way around with actual brain power....something all us Crafters have plenty of!
