The skirt is really cute, and I'm positively coveting the shoes. Cheesy

I love the cut of the skirt! Was it hard?

It was... interesting. It's the same exact piece four times. Marking all the dots and notches was a must on this one, and even so, it was kind of tricky pinning the pieces together at first. Y'know, since it has such a large curve, it doesn't behave how you want it too. But once I pinned the first two together, the rest of it made more sense and I was able to do it more quickly. Construction time really wasn't too long -- I did it in an afternoon. But it was the hemming that dragged this project out for so long for me.

The skirt is really cute, and I'm positively coveting the shoes. Cheesy

thanks for posting this.  I am definitely going to have to get this pattern.  love the shoes, but I trip in tennis shoes (really) so I couldn't even wear that small of a heel.

That is an awesome cut!!! My mother used to have a skirt like that and it was one of my favourites. She always told me, though, that it used a LOT of fabric!!! How much did your skirt take? I know it is not the easiest of patterns to do, but totally worth the effort!!! And you executed it beautifully!
