OMG this makes me so happy! I live in Medford but go to school in Ashland and I craft a ton.. I have never really met a crafty person like myself (I used to work at JoAnn's, I had pink streaks in my hair ) and would love to meet new crafty pals. My name is Kira btw, and I would love to join a Stitch'n'Bitch but I can only currently use a Knifty Knitter (Would love to learn how to do "real" knitting and also learn how to crochet).

We meet on Mondays @ 7pm-9pm @ the South Starbucks.

Is The Knifty Knitter that circular plastic thingy, if it is then you shouldn't have too much trouble learning how to knit knit.

I'm not gonna be their tonight but there are going to be a bunch of other folks there and I'll be there next week.

That totally bites. I, have dance class tonight 7:30-8:30 in medford >.< D'oh.

But yes, it is one of those circular plastic thingies.

D'oh! Is it every week or just for this week or just for the term that you have dance?

Ya I haven't knitted with those plastic thingies, though someone did give them to me, for some reason. I've been told that the process of making a stitch with those things is a lot more complicated than a regular knit stitch.

My Mom once went to a shop in the Eagle Point area in Oregon, she said the craft shop was in a barn. Anyone know about this place? She would like to find it again.

oh i wish i lived in medford! i live in kfalls. and i crochet pretty good. and i'm trying to teach myself to knit. i would so go to the stitch n bitch. i dont know anyone around here that is into it like me or into crafts. its just my friend and i. and she does scrapbooking so no one around me does anything with yarn.

I live in Gold Hill. I can paint, draw, (sorta) sculpt. I know a tiny bit of jewelry making (beading to be more specific). I can figure out most crafts. I can't really knit or crochet though I'd like to learn how to.
