So-called because much of it was found on the sidewalk outside where I work.
I've been messing around with wiring neat little bits of stuff together for years. I finally went and spent lotsa money to get all the non-found-object pieces necessary to make such jewelries pretty, and this is what I came up with on my first attempt drawing from my new stash:

I wish you could see the colors better, they are really quite vivid, but this is the best my poor little camera could do.
The middle piece is a bit of a beer bottle, the colorful things are beads, and the other thingies are tiny pebbles.
 Smiley Thanks for looking--opinions? suggestions?

I love it!  I'd wear it.  Wouldn't change a thing.  Smiley

I'm so glad to see that someone else uses things found on the sidewalk to make jewelry.  Smiley  I sometimes worry what the neighbors are thinking when they see me scavenging.  Wink

Did you grind down the beer bottle at all so it wouldn't be so sharp?
I'm just concerned and curious.

Yes, I did, kind of. I rubbed it on its one sharp edge, but it was a pretty smooth break.
Don't worry, it won't hurt anyone.   Shocked

Thats a really neat idea, and i love the name, sidewalk necklace.  I have never really thought about taking a look at the things I do see on the sidewalks or even parking lots.  I will have to take a closer look next time i see something. You never know what might be there!
