I received yesterday from Sharyn62 - and it's hard to believe this is her very first swap!

Sharyn originally picked me for a little of this, little of that...... and put together this amazing package!

first up - squares for my craftster quilt, and a thread catcher (rubbish tidy for anyoneo down under)

then, Sharyn knew I was looking for a couple of the smaller size, longer length circular needles for my lace knitting obsession.... she had a couple that I was seeking AND a vintage hairpin lace loom/pin (whatever you call it!)

in the world where toilets flush backwards (also known as down under), these are now called twin pins (not circulars), and the little pamphlet on hints for their use was pretty funny - i guess i've been knitting my lace shawl to and fro!

and last, but absolutely not least!!  Sharyn made me a fabulous wall hanging... all blues, yellows and golds, and it just FEEL like an ocean-y sort of wall hanging...... complete with 2 channels in the back to slip onto a decorative rod and hang on the wall!

Sharyn, thank you so much for everything!  this was an amazing package!

they're not coasters, they're for a quilt - it's going to be all squares made by crafters

Roll Eyes@ me. I should have been more specific, I was originally talking about the coasters that animegirlie posted, although I do really like the quilt squares, especially the one in the top left corner of your picture. I also really love the idea of making a "craftster quilt" I can't wait to see how it turns out!!!

Here are the awesome things I received from Mimiw. She made two adorable oven mitts (my kitchen is done in strawberry theme and I love gingham and rickrack  Smiley) and sent a tea towel trimmed with homemade strawberry bias tape, as well as the leftover strawberry fabric and some yellow and green ginghams.

I already used one of the mitts to grill, and it worked really well (and I looked cute as heck!). Thanks a bunch, Mimi!

They're showing up for me, so I don't know how to help. I read on some other threads that Photobucket was being fussy, so maybe try refreshing the page or check back in a couple minutes?  Smiley
