I drove an hour to a larger nearby town a few weeks ago jsut to go to a fabric store listed on the AH fabrics website.  The store doesn't even exist anymore!  I was so disappointed.  On their website that would have been the closest place for me.   Come to find out Hobby Lobby in my town carries a few AH fabrics.  Just not any of the ones I was loking for.  I want some of the awesome florals, & they had the Route 66 stuff.  It has gold foil ends on the bolts, that is an easy way to search for it.  It is already so much more expensive than what I normally pay for fabric.  I can't stand the thought of paying shipping on top of that.  There are several different designers that I am dying to have some of their fabric (tanya Whelan, Heather Bailey, etc) & I just can't find them around here.   Cry

I adore AH fabric and my only way of getting it is to order online ... these are some of the ones that I have bought from.
There are a few that are on sale at these ones just look them up ... shipping is always reasonable, even cheaper within the USA.

and a few more on ebay that you can trust ... and carry some AH fabrics (the second one especially but it goes in cycles, sometimes she has 125 items and then she takes a break and has 10)

I did find some AH fabric at Joann's... they just don't advertise by designer and it didn't say on the bolt.  I'm positive it's AH stuff though, I'm a fan and look online for his new designs Smiley

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

hartsfabric.com is a great place to buy fabric. Lots of AH and will ship soon. I never have any problems and they are great to work with! Good luck!

I second CrochetChica's suggestion of JoAnn. AH stuff is usually in with the regular quilter's cotton, and it's definitely not a full selection by any means, but the one near me has had that cute apples on a sky-blue background for about six months now. Also, another good source is Etsy - people are always selling AH (and other cute designers) stuff there. My hint is to not search for "alexander henry" but just for "alexander." For some reason, I don't usually get many results if I use the full name.
