I received a beautiful I atc from mamaedgar today:



as I told her, I was already having a lovely craft-centered day, and getting such a beautiful atc just put the icing on the cake.
it's hard to tell in this picture but the burnt-edge paper is on a standard card. the text reads "it seems as though...Icarus..fl ew too close when his father....fell into the sea(?) and drowned" or something like that. the text is appropriately fragmented so that's the approximation anyhow.

haha glad you like it!  i didn't think you'd really be able to read the scratchy notes i put in ...... they are supposed to be ramblings from the person who was studying icarus.  kind of wierd, but it looked too plain without the chicken scratch!
