'Cute' but 'Manly' Drink Recipe Ring

For Father's Day, I decided to put together some drink recipes for my hubby.  We don't drink that much alcohol, but he's always wanted to try drink mixing.  So I decided to put together a basket of the basics.

First I found a couple basic recipes online at webtender.com to find out what things to buy.  Then I went to the store and bought a few different basic ingredients.  Webtender.com is great because when I got home I just typed in all the ingredients we have in our cupboard and they found all the different drinks we can make.  Super cool!

So I hauled out my brand new recipe stamp set from Stampin' Up, and got to work.  I found four coordinating papers and stamped recipe cards.  I also used the "yum scale" stamp in the corner so he can decide which ones are his faves.

I made the covers out of chipboard, cardstock, patterned paper, and jumbo eyelets.  I used clear alphabet stamps for the title.  I punched holes in each of the cards and added the ring.  Tada!

Then, I threw the drink ingredients and recipe ring in a basket for him to open tomorrow.  I think he's going to be surprised and thrilled .
