Okay, so I have this weird niche in my living room, and I needed something new to decorate the area. I wanted something funky and colorful to match the rest of the area. So here it is.

I used some kind of thick bendable wire that my husband had, some wooden beads, paint, a ceramic pot, and some filler. Voila.
thanks for looking!

Is this niche in your living room the result of what used to be a wall-vault? The kind that is usually cleverly hidden by an over-sized, ugly painting? Revealing a high tech pin pad?

Thanks for the comments everyone! It was so easy, and so perfect for my living room. To answer the question, the niche was actually just an architectural design, built with the house.
The bench was something that I had. Actually my Dad made it for me years ago. I just painted it black, figuring it would be a good backdrop for the little tree.

Glad you liked it!

This is great!!! I love the way it goes with the "park bench"  perfect in the niche.  Nice and cheerful.
