lovin the leggings! and we know 100% that they were made in a totally safe, non-sweatshop environment, too. emphasis on "totally safe." take that, american apparel!
hope your finger gets better. i've certainly been scared into watching what i'm doing for a while now!

Those are quite funky and such an awesome colour and Im sorry about your finger
I dont know what Id do if that happened to me

You should totally frame the needle as a wall hanging
as an ode to your dedicated craftiness!

Great job on the leggings!  I sewed through the tip of my thumb once, got part of the nail.  I didn't go to a doctor, just kept it clean and bandaged with some neosporin, it was fine.

you should get a tetanus shot. I mean, if the needle wnet al the way thru your finger- that's sort of more than the type of wound you should handle by yourself.
personally, leggings freak me out, but I like the color!
and not to get too off topic but...

Isn't that AA's whole marketing strategy? I mean, aren't they all about how they pay their workers a living wage and they get health insurance and stuff? And how their prodcuts are actually made in America by Americans?
you shouldn't buy stuff from American apparel anyway... it's overpriced and very cheaply made. I've seen better quality at kmart, to be honest. Roll Eyes
I feel like AA's stuff costs what it does in order to pay that living wage.  things @ Kmart are cheap b/c they cost 3 cents to make in  some third world country by a child.
*off my soapbox now. American Apparel does not pay me. But they should. *

oh, i understand ya there. but that still doesn't keep it from being cheaply made. i bought a track jacket there once that was almost $50 and it is by far the most tragic piece of clothing i own. the zipper gets stuck (pulls into the fabric), seams are crooked, not all seams are finished, and a lot of the stitching puckers. i think they need to hire more competent workers because obviously the people there have no idea what they're doing.
