Elle Tie-On Slippers

Here is a cute little pair of slippers that you can make. I was inspired by one of my favorite movie stars -Doris Day in Pillow Talk. I  designed these slippers to wear on those lazy days of summer sipping your chilled ice tea. Enjoy! I have the pattern and directions at http://tissupapers.blogspot.com/2008/06/elle-tie-on-slippers.html - go make some for yourself!

ah, i love doris day!  Did you ever see on 'moonlight bay' & 'by the light of the silvery moon' ?  Im sure being a doris day fan you have.  Anyways, I love your slippers!  They make me think of something lucy would wear on 'i love lucy'  (my favorite show ever!!)

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

These are adorable!  Thank you SO MUCH for sharing the pattern, too.  I can see xmas gifts for my nieces (who live in the desert and don't need wool slippers)!  Auntie T-rex always buys them cute shoes, but this year she just might make them slippers, thanks to you.

those are lovely! one of my 2 favorite slipper styles ever (thanks to Jane Doe's wet felted wool boots) i clicked on the link to the pattern and all it did was take me back to the same page opps, it just took a while. the link works fine. i really want to make a pair, they would be perfect summer house shoes.
