Lately I have been doing a lot of doll making, poppets, dollar store challenge Waldorf doll, and various other dolls.  I am always trying to design/make  my perfect doll but have yet to.   Huh This week I've made 3 dolls, I'll post later, just being lazy.
So amongst all this doll making I decided to make my son a pirate doll he can take on vacation with us. It actually needs to be done today!!! He has a new camera so he can take picks of his pirate doing various beach vacation activities.
My friend's daughter came over to play with my son for the day yesterday and once she saw all the new dolls she went crazy!  Shocked We decided to make her a doll too.
She wanted a pirate KITTY and her only request was for pink and that she wear a belt.  So we went fabric shopping in my craft room and this is what we came up with.

She was really happy!  Next time I will make the arms a little wider because they were VERY difficult to stuff. I ended up using a nail file to stuff them, my pinky finger didn't even fit.  Actually the nail file was a good stuffer because the stuffing stuck to it and would actually go in  Cheesy

Here is the Pirate Cat I made for my son, his name is Ninja.

I'm thinking of making more of these kitties for other friends and for gifts and maybe for my shop.  My son loves Ninja, we took him on vacation with us and he took pictures of him on his various adventures!

I'm trying to come up with other varieties too....
