He's too cute! The only downside is, I would feel bad sticking pins into him!

I agree...I am careful to just put my pins in the blue parts...it is big enough I can do that so i'm glad...

The cushion is just about 4.5 inches in diameter...not too big but bigger then the norm.

I just filled him with polyfil (that is what I have always filled mine with and haven't had any issues) There is a small flat rock in the bottom to keep him steady and not fly all over my table.

I have read about the Emery to fill them but my pins never go dull. They always bend way before that.

Thanks for all the compliments. Glad everyone love it as much as I do Smiley

Ha ha mine always bend before they go dull too!
I looked up emery a long time ago because I was curious it is hard to find and if I remember right it's actually pretty expensive stuff.

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

I think probably pretty messy to work with. So I've never bought it. I think someone on Etsy sells it. I think I bend and toss pins too. I used emery mostly for needles.
