so these are my first clay pieces (other than pinch-pots)
i guess bananas and sunflowers remind me of SUMMER Smiley


(tomato for scale)




the sunflower (it has a whole in the back so hopefully it can hang)

I made some other things in the class, but will not get them until next year because they are glazed, these are just painted, in "dry-brush"

Il y a un monstre dans le lac, et il s'appelle Jean-Claude.
Mon ami le monstre sort du lac quand l'eau est trop chaude.
Le monstre vient au Lac du Bois pour jouer de la guitare.
Il aime bien manger les villageois et les monos bizarres. RAAAARAH!

I love that banana.  I am a huge fan of sunflowers, so I love yours.  Is that tomato samonella-free? Grin  I'm a dork, I couldn't resist asking, since it's all over the news.  You did a great job.
