Hello there,

I am a young lady who just started selling her yummy clay creations, and I was curious to know how you guys go about selling your goodies. How did you start to advertise? Can you make a decent part time living off of it plus working full time or part time at a normal job? I really want to take my business to that next level.

I have a website which I designed. It can be found in my signature. But there has to be other ways to advertise. I mean, people aren't just going to start flooding to your website because it's THERE. They need to be directed there. Where would you start to advertise?

I'd love some advice. I'm business savvy when it comes to making sites, business cards, posters, etc, but what can I do with them? I'd just like to make some money doing something I really enjoy!

I'd love to hear about your selling experiences!

There are a bunch of tips and ideas about all aspects of doing polymer clay as a business on these pages of my site if you want to check them out... just pick the parts you're interested in:

and maybe:

There's info about marketing one the main Business page in particular too, but one important thing is to identify your potential customer base first (e.g., "cute" items of "jewelry" would include only certain subsets of people, so you'd want to figure out where they might be found before deciding on marketing strategies... you might also want to branch out so you could have a wider customer base).

Good luck!
