I wasn't really sure what to call this style of ring, but after looking at it, it reminded me of a firework explosion, and the name kind of stuck.  I got an order from Fire Mt last night that included a few mixed bags of striped resin beads and a mixed findings lot.  After digging thru the findings, I found a beading ring (the kind with little loops on it that you can attach drops from).  I played around with it and came up with this.

I tried to make it striped, but once you get it on and the beads move around, the pattern is a little wonky.  But I still like how it turned out.

I wear a lot of red, white, and black, so I know this will make it into regular rotation at work.  It's so fun, and makes a little noise when you move.

Love it. I would love to do this when I have the supplies. I think it looks like fireworks, too.

nice!  Smiley

How do you get all those beads attached? Does the ring 'base' have loops on it?

This is the type of ring I used.  Mine had 10 loops total, and I attached 2 drops from each loop.
