I'm new to Craftster and really love this website. I hope it will be okay that I post this on this thread because the handbag part is less than great & this IS my greatest beading achievement. I call it a bracelet bag (cuz you wear around your wrist). I made the graph (old school with graph paper and colored pencils) based on an original drawing that I had considered for a tattoo. It's peyote stitch the sacred hearts go around the bag, 3 in total. It's lined with red silk but I couldn't get that pic to turn out
forgive me I also really struggled with a shot of it on my wrist.

oh yea, there's a little heart charm on it

The bracelet part

Detail of beading

This website is finally making learn how to use my camera and computer .(I really suck at it!!!) But feedback really makes it worth it for me. Thanks for checking this out.

That's gorgeous, and I KNOW a lot of work went into it. The best part is that you designed it on graph paper yourself. What an acomplishment! Be proud, fellow beader!  Smiley

Growing up my dad did a lot of beading.  Mainly indian design stuff.  I have even tried my hand in it, and so has my wife (simple basic patterns).
I woudl just like to say that this bag is phenonminal.
I mean, WOW.
Seeing things like this makes me almost want to try beading again... almost.

keep up the great work.

Thanks, everybody!!  omg it took forever...I usually do square stitch and this was actually my first attempt at peyote stitch (ALWAYS START SMALL!!!lol) I made this about 3 years ago and have finished beading another in square stitch but it turned out bigger than expected and I am stumped on how to turn it into a purse..(light bulb)..hey I should post pics here and I am sure my fellow Craftsters will give me plenty of good ideas. okay pics to follow.

thanks again everybody, your responses have made me feel so good!!! Grin
