I made these for the Jim Henson Swap they went to Radioactive Nicole.  This was my first attempt at redoing some notebooks.. and I think I am hooked!

I made them with construction paper.. no patterns.. just looking at photos from the net and cutting until I was happy!
I think I would like to try some more of the gang!

Adorable! Is that glitter covering them? And how did you attach the background paper?
You did a great job! Smiley

I started with the construction paper.. and then glue sticked it all down.. placed plastic over them, and some heavy books so they would dry straight.  Then I took some Craft Time All-purpose sealer and put over them, while it was wet, I put some crystal glitter all over it. Back to the plastic and books.  When that layer was dry, I brushed on one more coat of the sealer, so that the glitter would not come off.  I took a silver marker and did the edges to finish them off.
The note book came from Walgreens- it was a memo size.. not a full notebook.
Thanks for all the wonderful compliments!

Thank you!  It also hides that the construction is made up of simple construction paper!  They looked awesome in person.  I really had fun with these... Linda P
