So I made the womb from the most recent knitty issue for my mom and she was most pleased with the results. People keep asking me why I made it for her and i tell them, "who else do you give a womb to?"

Also recently finished pasha the penguin from the same issue, i want to make him a wardrobe before i post him

You're right that a mother is the perfect person to give a womb.  Awesome idea!

I remember, back in the days before the internet, some of your mother's knitting/craft projects.

One thing that sticks out is the twisted yarn knob she'd decided was a male fertility symbol.

I can't imagine anything more perfect for her than a knit womb.
