Alright, so this weekend, I finally got tired of my 7.5 year old daughter tying everything she has in knots.  I mean, things were tied across her room.  I threatened to cut anything else she ties up.   Together, we decided the best option would to make something that she could tie whenever she wants.  Sooo, we cut up her favorite-no-longer-fits-but-still-wants-to-wear Tshirt. And one of my tank tops.  Then we attached a ton of yarn that she can tie as much as she wants.  She named her clover, for the fact that she is entirely green.  And the eyes are bizarre, because that is how she wanted them.  And she has already asked that the next one we make is red.  So, without further ado, the no pattern knot doll.

I love it. I love the dress.
That is such a creative solution to the need.

The dress is actually her old favorite Tshirt.  That way she doesn't have to throw it out until she is ready.  Now though, she is tying knots until she falls asleep...lol

Fantastic doll! She's adorable and the fact that she's so useful is a huge plus! Very inspired creativity.
