I posted an in-progress picture of this quilt, but I thought I would post the finished product as well!  It is not quite twin-bed sized, but works fine as a summer blanket.  I called it "Summer Picnic" because the bright colors and the t-shirts reminded me of summer.

I didn't have enough of the striped fabric to do the entire backing, so Mrs. Robertson, my fiancee's mom and my quilting mentor, donated that pretty watercolor-like print from her stash. 

I learned a lot from this project.  Quilting has many more steps than I thought.  Also, I am abysmal at freehanded machine quilting.  Egads.  Something to work on  Wink

I love the different size squares, it looks so... noncomformist, and yet you did it so well.
