So I had to do a contest work for my Drawing II class. The contest I chose to do was a mothers & daughters theme. Well mine doesn't have a mother but it does have a daughter...
I used a picture frm Vegbee's Rainbow Twirly Patch dress ( I will post the link when I find it).
here is the link to her dress. I used the first pic as a basis.
Thanks to her for letting me use the image. Grin

I love the way the finished product came out.

It is watercolor and is about 8" by 11"....or so...
I wish I couldd've gotten more details but I was running out of time and the watercolor just couldn't be bothered...
The picture of course takes away some of the color. IT looks much better in person.

C&C welcome.

I found the link for the thread http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=182354.0
And your picture is beautiful - I especially like the grass with the girls shadow and the blades of grass coming around her feet.

Would love to swap journal ephemera if anyone is doing that

Thanks for your comments. Roll Eyes
Everyone seems to like the shading in the grass...I didn't think it would make a big difference...tehe, silly me. Grin
