I was inspired by jenna_08's lunch bag! So I made my own. A little different style, but I totally dig it. I'm really happy how it turned out. The fabric I used for the exterior was from the remnant pile at JoAnn's. I believe it's some type of home decor fabric. It's a bit heavy and feels canvas-y. The lining is just some fabric I had - the light beige matches perfectly with the paisley patterns on the red fabric. Also, I have some off-white webbing I'm going to use to add straps. I just have to dig it out from wherever it is hidden.

Anyway, here's my lunch bag:

Front view, with a small pocket.

Inside - with a baggy pocket for my sandwich.   Tongue

A better view of the fabric and the lining.

To show the size... it will fit a full size box of Puff's!

This is so cool and thanks for passing the inspiration on to me. I'm thinking about getting a bento box together, so I might incoporate the bento w/ this wicked sweet lunch bag idea!

Hey: Great Bag.
Don'tcha just hate it when your webbing wanders off on vacation? I often times have bought enough for one particular project, set it with the fabric I'm going to use with it, only to have it sneak away and hide when it came time to sew it all together. And, after buying more (because I haven't the patience to hunt it down where ever it wandered off to) I find it...usually sitting in the middle of the sewing table  Angry grr.
