It's lined in the same red nautical print, makes for a more interesting view for the inside Smiley I didn't include a pic of the back to save space - the red band goes all the way around so just imagine the front without a flap.

Both fabrics are cotton, the nautical print is one of those that's grown on me, I had imagined it differently and wanted to make a skirt out of it. I can still see it making a funky skirt, just not on me Smiley Luckily enough I love it as bag fabric.

Even though I've made this pattern before I managed to muck up the flap part (sewed it so it came out on the inside). Got annoyed with myself before unpicking and sewing it on again, right way this time! I always sew things to death so it took a little while to unpick. Makes the bags nice and tough though...

Any thoughts, comments or random ramblings are appreciated Smiley

L-O-V-E!!!!  O_O
The bag is awesome, and I'm so in love with that red sailor fabric.  Where did you find it, if you don't mind me asking?  I have a vintage dress pattern that is screaming for fabric like that! Cheesy

Thanks for your comments Smiley

I made the pattern myself and I got the fabric from ebay.
