Hello!
this is the second skirt I've made from a sheet I bought for $3 - sheets are a very economical way to sew!  And comfy!
Anywho, it's a basic A-line skirt.  But at 6 points around the bottom I bunched it up, and then sewed a ribbon from the bunching up vertically to the waist.  So it adds a bit of dynamic / interest to the skirt.  I hid the zipper under one of the ribbons.
Here are some photos  Smiley

Thats a really great idea to hide the zipper under the ribbon ! I'll have to remember that one.

Wow, this is beautiful!  I love the construction of the skirt, with the ribbons runching it up, and the green with the black-and-white print is wonderful.  (And the skirt looks great with the shirt, too.)  Very nice work.  And thrifty!

Great skirt and such a fun and easy way to dress it up with the ribbon.   Love it.  How about making a skirt from the cool curtain on the window in the background too?  You could put a lining of plain colored fabric underneath and it would look great!!  LOL  (I know ... sometimes I think my mind has a will of it's own!  LOL)

Fantastic skirt, and the idea of the ribbon really makes it pop. The colors are spot on also.  Smiley
