well I've been very busy lately...got a job as a traditional dance teacher at local school..well I'm on my semester break now..i study in music's education ..ha ha enough babbling

my aunt gave me a new pair of jeans but it turns out 4 size bigger than mine.. but i like the fabric..so i made a cute vest from the pants legs .. and here it is
front:

i wore it once to work and my students keep asking me where did i buy it heheh

back :

ohhh before i totally forgot about it..this is the jeans before i turn it into the vest heheh

well.. as i promised you guys here is the tute!!!

1- cut off both of the jeans's legs

2-Then rip the seam on one side of the pants leg and you will get the results as on the pic. repeat the same process on the other one.

3- decide how long you want the vest to be and drew a curvy line as shown on the pic. cut off the orange part ( i coloured it orange to make it easier for you to understand )

4-after u finish the 3rd process , you'll get the result as shown on pic.Repeat the same process on the other pant's leg.

5-now you take both piece and top stitch on the A to A part , then top stitch on the B to B part.when you finish the process , top stitch a ribbon to the C part ( decide the measure of the ribbons to your desired lenght).

6- and wallaaaa here you got a lovely denim vest to suit your style...you can put a dart on the front of the vest if you like.
