RUBBER STAMP MANIA
Details of swap: Round 1 was lots of fun Cheesy lets do it again!

This is what we will swap and how-we get 2, count'em, 2 options:
Each swapper will carve 3 stamps from either rubber stamp material (you can get it at art supply stores) or a good quality rubber eraser. You can choose to swap A: all 3 with one partner or
B: one each with 3 partners.

Newbies will be restricted to one partner.

You have the option of adding impression stamps or cork stamps if you and your partner so desire.  I would suggest sending stamps unmounted to cut down on shipping.

This swap is for beginners and experienced stampers, and stamp carvers.

I keep peeking at this swap. I'm terribly interested, I've just never carved anything ever in my life and think I'd probably send something rather sad which wouldn't be fair to my partner.  Cheesy Seems terribly interesting though.

Oh you don't need to be a pro! It really doesn't take much practice to turn a favorable result.  Plus, part of the fun in this swap is that the stamps are rustic and handmade! If we all wanted store-bought looking stamps, we'd be buying them at the store instead of swapping!

Yup! Last round has 2 or 3 who never carved before (including my partner- I've used those stapms a TON too)- you'd never guess from the gallery Smiley Sign up! If you want to practice first get some extra erasers at the dollar store, I've seen packs of 5 for $1.
