... you be the judge.

The fabric was originally for a halter-style top with less coverage. However, I wanted to try out a Built By Wendy pattern and this is what I had lying around at the time. Had I known how this shirt would turn out I probably wouldn't have used this fabric cause I think it's a bit much. Also, the hem at the bottom isn't finished and the botton holes were done really sloppily as I'd given up on the shirt by that point.

So what do you think... not too bad or ridiculous and shouldn't be worn outside? Tongue

I really like this!  I don't think the print is too much; it has a bit of a Japanese flavor to it.  I'd love instructions for it!

Cool, thanks! The pattern I used can be purchased from Built By Wendy's website here... http://www.builtbywendy.com/onlineshop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16672&category_id=296 I hope it's okay to post the link to this site... I'm not affiliated with this company by any means. Wink

I really like it and definitely think the pattern looks great. I agree about the Japanese flavor.

not ugly.  not even loud.  (the brown and the asian flavour subdues it)

I like the shirt alot.  I don't think it's too much.  It has a 70s vibe (in a good way!)...Very much like patterns on some of the many vintage dresses I have from that time period, but the pattern tones it down.  You did a great job.

i think the fabric and the style of the shirt go perfect together, like kimono-y Cheesy

That shirt is in no way ugly. I would love a shirt like that, it has such gorgeous sleeves!
