I found the pattern on a Jo-Ann's site.  It's technically the same as most of the reversible purses I've made.  The top is scooped, rather than straight across.  Sorry the picture doesn't do it justice.

The outside fabric is from an old skirt that I was ready to donate, when I noticed that it was the same color as a linen suit (hanging behind the purse) I'm going to wear to a wedding.  It's polyester, but feels like silk.  I lined it with cotton in the same color as the flowers.  Lining is hot pink, though it looks red in the picture.

I used Wonder Under with pieces from one of my husband's old oxford cloth shirts to thicken and stiffen the top fabric.  I squared off the bottom and put a rectangle of flexible plastic between the fabrics to make it "sit" easily.

Cost:  About $3 for the lining (I had a coupon).  $2 for the beads.
