I love the "tiles" on top. That was a great deal you got on that desk!

I spent soooo long in the scrapbook paper section at Joann's!  Their section is so huge too, that I had a really hard time not choosing too many designs.  I wanted to go with mostly elegant designs to begin with and it was hard to imagine it in smaller pieces, which really did change the look of some of them and as soon as I saw the comic book style of mickey in muted tones that it would be fun addition without looking out of place.  I wish I were able to get the pieces in straighter lines,  but that was waaay harder than I anticipated.  I tried to do the math before I started of how big exactly to make the pieces along with the spaces in order to fit them in across without needing half pieces.  When that proved to be nearly impossible for my geometrically-impaired mind I just winged it with 2 1/2 inch squares.

Anyway, thanks for all the comments- You're making me so happy every time I check in on my replies to posts!!!!  Grin

I love it, too! It would be nifty to pin things to those fabulous drawers, in my opinion.  Smiley

I loved that one two, I found it going through a desk calendar of scrapbook pages I have, I thought it would be fun to have one little off tile in a random spot.  I love how it turned out!

Yup, I was thankful for not having anything that had to be done right now so I could tackle this with all I had  Smiley
