Yea camera working again:  This is the one I got from Woobie.  She is beautiful thank you very much.

I'm so lonely oh so lonely.....LOL. I made this out of old picture frame, cup hooks and one of those wood plaques.  I still have to paint the base.  I thought this would be wonderful way to display my dolls.  Can't wait to get the rest of them.

Terrific display idea!  At some point my family might start suggesting I remove the dolls hanging from the chandelier, so this is a great idea to have for when that day comes... Cheesy

Oh I just finished reading this entire thread AND the entire swap discussion thread.  I have never heard of a dotee doll (until this morning) - but I am GREEN with envy at all your amazing creations.  I never thought that swapping was "my thing" but I am definately tempted beyond resistance!  I will be madly stalking the swap board so that I can sign up for round 2!

Wow, Woobie, that doll is amazing!  Almost makes me feel ashamed to send mine out this morning!

Panda, I love your display frame.  Lmcbride, I have two chandeliers.  I like the idea of hanging them there.  That would really make my kids roll their eyes!

Crafty.Canadian - join us!  Swapping is fun and addicting!

I realized as I packed mine up that they are a little to the large side and will probably probably stand out in the group.  Kind of fitting though, since I am 5'11" and always stand out in a crowd!  Sorry if I pushed the size requirement a bit.  My dotee's just kind of "happened" and evolved as I worked on them.

panda.. I'm so glad you like her.  When I made her I had no idea that mermaids would be such a big theme in this swap.  Smiley  Love the display stand.

gingerquilts.. thanks.. I assure you I had my own bouts of anxiety over sending my dolls.

Freaktreats: your two latest additions=so nice! Love the lashes on the blue one and Hope is really a natural beauty all around.

Woobie: that's a fabulous mermaid--she's really an emerald darling all the way.

Smmarrt reports that she's received the third quint I made. Let me know if you want me to post. I took decent shots before they left.

I received a wonderfully beautiful (and creepy) dotee from freakytreats:

the detail is amazing on her wings and her face is just gorgeous!

i love her, but i think if i ever turn my back she might kill me.  Grin I said I liked creepy-cute stuff and y'all really delivered. Freakytreats, it's fabulous how you can make something so beautiful and scary. Thank you so much!!

Wow, the latest dolls are so great!

I LOVE the red and black doll from freakytreats, and I agree with what woobie said about the popularity of the mermaids... I have one on my "to do" list... she was one of the ones I really wanted to do this round, but I did Calypso and well... they're both sea-creatures... hehe.  Smiley  Next round I bet there will be even more.  Mermaids are fantastic, and that one is so great!  I love her little beaded scales.  Smiley

That doll by freakytreats is very scary and very beautiful.  Frighteningly beautiful.  I wouldn't call it creepy-"cute" exactly but it has its own powerful effect!  I love it.  I want one.
