I have received my first dotee from pinkleo, and she is fantastic!

I will post photos tomorrow afternoon - I have pink eye, apparently, and my eye is killing me right now, so I don't want to take the time staring at the screen to resize the HUGE photos my camera takes!

Any my partners shouldn't worry - I only started having symptoms TODAY so your dolls are pink eye free.  Smiley

I recieved from Kitten Wrangler! I saw the post and was ike... hmmm... a package? Oh for meee!! *tear open* OMG LOVE HER!

She's so my style Cheesy I keep giggling because its funny IMO Tongue

She's so sweet. Poor things tired after a aus to uk journey! Best let her sleep.

Look! She woke up and took her place on my shelves with my pullip Dru and my Dal Nemo (both custom). Her eyes open too!

The letter. It says:

"This is Lucy from Syracuse. She likes writing but wants to apologise for her weak eyes - they just won't stay in her head and she's obliged to carry them around on a tray."

I think its kinda creep to be honest, in a good way. My sense of humour is to find things like this highly amusing! Eyes from head are fun, and I like writing (a working on a zombie novel right now). Also, my fave colours are pink/black among others Tongue Thanks so much kitten wranglre. I love her!

On a side note, I thought I was the only one who'd given names to the dolls before sending ^^ My recievee's will see what I mean. I just hope they understand why the names were chosen as they were!

I'm making a blanket for my uni room as it gets so cold! If you can make/spare any 5X5 inch squares of crochet, I'd happily swap you for something! Please PM me!

Wow!  I hope I can pick up some creepy/cute skills like this from this swap! I think it's hard to pull off actually, but this eyeball think has me cracking up too. Cheesy

I love them ALL, the cute, the spirits, the creepy cute.  On the flickr group I saw some that are kind of like "aliens" with numerous eyes and such, and I can't wait to try my hand at that style as well!

OK, here is a photo of the awesome dotee I received from pinkleo yesterday!

I love her so much!  She is hanging on my craft desk.  She's so lovely!

Her "scales" are sequins and seed beads.  She's so pretty.  And I love the bra.  Wink

Thank you, pinkleo!  She's lovely.  I showed her to my hubby, and he said "Oh, that's one's so cool!"

P.S. I have an eye doctor appointment today.  Smiley

That's adorable.  I love the little shell bra.  I've finished two and the other three are in the works but after seeing the ones posted here I'm thinking I need to go back and do over or something.

And I finally had time to post pictures, sorry it took so long!

First is from jenicat, her beautiful sea maiden dotee with the wild seaweed hair:

pictures are blurry so you can't see all the details and beading on the bottom, but here's a closeup of her precious little blue lips:

whoo, that is blurry. and it was cloudy when i took these pictures (i live in oregon) so that didn't help either. thank you so much, jenicat, she is absolutely beautiful!

more pictures, whee!
this darling of the sideshow is from pinkleo:

yes, my dears, that is a conjoined twin dotee. is that the coolest thing you've ever seen, or what? and isn't their little heart just adorable? pinkleo, that made me laugh when i first saw it, and i'll probably smile every time from now on whenever i see it. thank you!
